Warranty exclusions and limitations.
- This warranty is only available to the original purchaser of the Utemaster product.
- This warranty only applies to defects notified to Utemaster in writing within the 5-year warranty period (3 years if purchased prior to June 1st 2025)
This warranty excludes damage or defects due to the following:
- Physical damage to the product following receipt by the customer, except where caused by Utemaster;
- Incorrect installation or fitting of the product to any vehicle;
- Any defect in any vehicle on which the product has been installed or fitted;
- Any use of the product other than as recommended by Utemaster;

- This warranty excludes normal wear and tear during normal use of the product.
- This warranty will be void if the specified load ratings for the product have been exceeded.
- The driver of the vehicle on which the product is installed or fitted is responsible for ensuring that loads restrained to the product are properly secured, that load restraint methods and equipment used by the operator are sufficient for the purpose they are being used for, and that the vehicle is suitable for their driving environment. Over-tightening of load restraint equipment may result in damage to the product, and such damage will not be covered under this warranty.
- The driver of the vehicle is responsible for driving safely. Utemaster is not responsible for any distractions or blindspots resulting from the product being installed or fitted.
- Utemaster is not responsible for any damage or loss of or to any property or animals being transported in conjunction with the product.

Utemaster is not responsible for any additional costs, expenses or other losses incurred by you as a result of any warranty failure, including loss of or damage to any motor vehicles or vehicle loads or other property, any loss of profits or productivity, any consequential loss, or the cost of any replacement vehicle hire. Utemaster is also not liable for any costs or expenses incurred by you with any third party in diagnosing any defect with the product, unless those costs or expenses have been approved by Utemaster in writing.
Specific product limitations or exclusions.
- The Load-Lid™ can take up to 200kgs in the closed position and will not support loads on top in the open position.
- Utemaster does not stipulate load ratings for non-Utemaster branded load carrying accessories, since they have their own limitations and have not been tested.
- The Load-Lid™ and Centurion Canopy™ will not completely seal the vehicle tub from dust and water. There are gaps in the vehicle tub that will let water and dust in under certain circumstances.
- The Centurion Canopy™ can take up to 200kgs only if a genuine Utemaster Cantilever Roof Rack is fitted.
Warranty claim and repair process
You must notify Utemaster immediately upon becoming aware of any defect with the product. You must not install or fit any product that has obvious defects. Utemaster is not responsible for any product repair or replacement costs arising from any delay by you in notifying Utemaster of any product defect.
You must also provide Utemaster with proof of purchase of the product when you submit your claim, as well as any other information Utemaster may reasonably require. Your warranty claim may be declined if you do not provide the information reasonably requested by Utemaster.
Before processing any warranty claim, Utemaster may require you to return the defective product to Utemaster or its authorised repairers for the purposes of inspection.
The decision whether the defective product can be repaired, or whether a replacement should be provided, will be made solely by Utemaster. Utemaster may also elect to provide a full refund for the product as an alternative to repairing or replacing the product or its defective parts or components.
Any repair of the product must be carried out by Utemaster or an authorised Utemaster repairer, unless otherwise agreed by Utemaster in writing. If repairs are to be carried out by a person other than Utemaster, that person must provide Utemaster with a written quotation for those repairs, and must follow any repair instructions provided by Utemaster. Utenaster will not be responsible for any failure by such person to follow any required repair process under this warranty.
Any attempt by any person not authorised by Utemaster to modify or repair the product will invalidate this warranty.
If you wish to make a warranty claim, or if you have any questions about our warranty, please call us on 1300 648 179 or email [email protected].
