“There’s nothing better than knocking off at the end of the day, chucking the swag on the roof, and heading off to the adventure.”
Meet Brendan Hyde, the man behind Hyde the Clippings – a landscape maintenance business built on precision, pride and an honest days’ work. As the go-to guy for transforming your yard, he knows more than most about ‘neat & tidy’.

For Brendan, it’s not just about lawn care. It’s about a job well done, and the satisfaction of a system that works, so he has more time for the things that matter.
“My entire business is about keeping my clients’ lawns neat and tidy, so I’ve got to stay neat and tidy myself.”
This philosophy carries through everything he does. From his tools and workspace to his life outside of work, Brendan thrives on organisation.
“I’ve always been someone that likes to keep things organised. I guess that’s why I love doing what I do. There’s a real sense of satisfaction in stepping back and admiring the work I’ve just done.”
That same obsession with order led to his next big decision. Every minute spent wrestling gear between jobs affected both workflow, and time for life’s adventures. Brendan needed a setup that matched his pace: fast to load, secure on the road, and flexible enough to switch from business to lifestyle.
“When it came to choosing a canopy, there was no other decision for me but to choose Utemaster,” he says. “It’s strong, it’s secure, and it really helps me put everything where it should be.”
Brendan worked closely with the Utemaster team to ensure a fit-out that wouldn’t just store tools, it’d supercharge his workflow. By sticking with the Centurion setup, he kept the efficiency already built into his daily routine. His gear stayed organised, and every tool still had its place.
“I really enjoyed setting this up to work the way I needed it to. It has everything I need to do for my business.”
In a trade where wasted minutes add up fast and every job could impact the next, Brendan reckons a good setup is probably more important than sharp mower blades. He is quick to admit that being tidy might make him “a bit OCD,” but for him, that attention to detail is what gets the job done right.
Life Beyond Lawns
Work, though, is only part of the equation. For Brendan, the Centurion also had to fit into his life beyond the lawns.
“More importantly, it also had to work with my work life balance as well as a love of the outdoors, and it does just that.”
When clients are serviced and the tools are packed away, the same canopy that keeps his business running smooth transforms into a base for missions off-road.
“There’s nothing better than knocking off at the end of the day, chucking the swag on the roof, and heading off to the adventure.”

Doing More of What Matters
Brendan Hyde’s story is straightforward, but it makes sense. Keeping your work sharp, your gear organised, and your setup ready is one of the best ways to stay on top of things. It means you can get in, get stuff done, and enjoy life’s adventures.
Any tool that helps you do that earns its place.
His ute and canopy are part of a system that lets him run his life more efficiently, and when adventure comes knocking, he can shift gears to make the most of it.
Recently, he’s taken the next step - upgrading to the ute of his dreams, an F150. For Brendan, the journey hasn’t ended; it’s evolving.

This is Doing More of What Matters.
Let’s face it - getting your ute dialled in can be a challenge.
But as this fitout showed us, the right build doesn’t just sort your gear – it can upgrade your entire operation.
